The VF-171EX ARMORED NIGHTMARE PLUS EX (ALTO SAOTOME USE), one of the protagonist's mecha from "Macross Frontier," is back with armored parts in this revival version!

From "Macross Frontier," which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2023, the VF-171EX ARMORED NIGHTMARE PLUS EX, which protagonist Alto Saotome pilots in the latter half of the series, has been revived. The mecha's body and armored parts have a matte surface to enhance the texture, and markings have been added to the armored parts.

Comes with a wealth of weapons for anti-Vajra battles and armored parts for use by the commander mecha! The parts can be equipped to all three forms: Battroid, GERWALK, and Fighter!

Equipped with armored parts for fighter form. Short-range high-mobility anti-aircraft missiles, high-speed armor-piercing rockets, and medium-range anti-aircraft missiles can be equipped to the main wings.
Equipped with armored parts in Battroid mode. The anti-Vajra MDE anti-gravity particle cannon connected to the right arm armor has a movable joint arm. The left arm armor can be equipped with a large anti-carrier missile.
Equipped with armored parts in GERWALK mode. With the pull-out gimmick of the thigh, it is possible to transform into the GERWALK mode while equipped with the armored parts.
The modeling of the main body of VF-171EX ARMORED NIGHTMARE PLUS EX (ALTO SAOTOME USE) has been updated and its coloring now has a matte texture.
Reproduce the characteristic three-step transformation gimmick of the VF-171EX ARMORED NIGHTMARE PLUS EX (ALTO SAOTOME USE). In Battroid form, it has both the sturdiness of an attack machine and the stylishness of a variable machine.
The GERWALK form can achieve a stable pose with an elegant wide-legged stance.
The canopy can be opened and closed, and an Alto Saotome mini-figure can be seated in the cockpit.
The landing gear is stored on the bottom of the fuselage, and it can be pulled our for display on the ground. The landing gear stored in the leg can be used even when equipped with armored parts.
Emblems and markings based on the series are printed on each part of the machine. The armored parts feature new markings that are exclusive to this "Revival Ver."
Inlucdes a dedicated pedestal usable with all three forms. It also supports action poses in Battroid form.

About the Series

Macross Frontier

Since the broadcast of "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" in 1982, there have been many entries in the series developed for TV, OVA, and theaters. This monumental sci-fi series has introduced numerous hit songs as well. Macross Frontier's "Lion," sung by the two divas Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee, is considered one of the best songs in the series. Yoko Kanno, who rejoined the series since "Macross Plus," has brought many recognizable songs to the series, such as "Iteza☆Gogo Kuji Don't be late" and "Seikan Hikou."
