Jay Ward joined Pixar Animation Studio in December 1998,
He served as an assistant in the art department of the feature animation movie "Monsters, Inc." (published 2001).
He was immediately promoted to the coordinator and in 2001 he was involved in the early stages of "Cars" (released in 2006). In making "Cars", he is active in various fields making full use of his knowledge of cars. While serving as a manager of the character team, he played the role of a car consultant for coach John Lasseter, co-director Joe Rumft. After that, he became the director of the art department of "Remil 's delicious stranger" and "Merida and the forest of trouble" and in 2008 he served as Associate Producer of the short animated film "Magician Prest".
Ward contributes to the production of feature animation movie "Cars 2" by Disney / Pixar, making full use of all knowledge about cars.
In addition, he played an active role as a main consultant at "Disney's California Adventure Park" "Carsland" (opened June 15, 2012) development. After that, the word paid enthusiasm and enthusiasm for enthusiasm and creative motivation to every project of "Cars" franchise deployment, and most recently served as a creative director of "Cars / Crossroad".
Prior to joining Pixar, I belonged to the US Navy reserve and later studied at the California Art University, and in 1993 I got a Bachelor of Arts in illustration. Ward currently resides in Orinda, California with his wife, their two children.
