We wanted our action figure to be able to reproduce these techniques – without sacrifice the natural look of his body. This led to a thorough examination of the anatomy and motion of real muscles.

Bruce Lee’s films are also filled with powerful kicking techniques. We wanted our figure to be able to replicate them as well. But we didn't want to alter the distinctive flare of his pants as seen on screen. Just as with the upper torso, we refined the articulation of the waist and legs to effectively capture this range of motion.

The nunchaku: Bruce Lee's trademark weapon. His technique, so smooth it flows like water, still has the power to mesmerize. Capturing it in an action figure required both stability and stress-free posability. We utilized articulation points that could capture poses intuitively, without having to work on them.

Featuring Bandai’s unique digital color technology.

Aiming for total realism, we adopted the same digital coloring technology developed for the S.H.Figuarts' "Star Wars" figure series. We analyzed a huge amount of documentation, including photos and life-masks, to create the base model. Then, we directly printed it with an unprecedented level of digital color data, capturing everything down to stray locks of hair and scratches on his cheeks. Bruce Lee fans will thrill to the incredible sense of reality of this 14cm figure.

Born in San Francisco, Bruce Lee was a world-renowned martial artist and actor. Founder of the "Jeet Kune Do,” a synthesis of many Chinese martial arts and philosophies. As a martial artist, his work laid the foundation for many kinds of mixed martial arts. As an actor, his movie "Enter the Dragon" was a global hit. He is one of the few Asian actors to have their names carved in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
